First Alert Forecast

More sunshine and warmer temperatures return this week

First Alert Forecast

LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) - Good afteroon Texoma! The accumulated snow has melted off as fast as it appeared, so hopefully you were able to enjoy it while it lasted. Temperatures this evening will cool down quickly due to lack of cloud cover and winds out of the north. Temperatures around 8PM will be in the mid to upper 30s. Expect a dry and quiet overnight.

Tomorrow morning is going to be another cold one with more widespread 20 degree temperatures. Tomorrow afternoon clear skies will remain and temperatures will warm into the low to mid 50s. During the overnight into Tuesday, temperatures will fall back down into the upper 20s.

Wednesday more clouds will build in, but temperatures will continue to climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s. There is a very small chance of an isolated shower around midnight, primarily for our far eastern Texoma counties.

Thursday better rain chances move into Texoma. Don’t expect a washout as light showers to drizzle are expected. Highs on Thursday will be in the lower 50s. We should see the system clear out by 11PM-midnight.

Friday-Sunday looks dry with temperatures gradually warming back into the mid 50s, expect mostly sunny skies as well.
