LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) -Platt College donated Christmas presents Saturday to a non-profit organization.
This is the second time Platt College has given to Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) who work to create a safer environment for abused children. Members from the organization said they are an international group, but in Southwest Oklahoma they are smaller. They said it is nice to have to have the communities support.
“We work hard and we go out and do Fill the Boot to get our funds together, but other than that it’s just help from the community. It’s all about empowering the children," said Harmony with BACA. “That’s what we do, empower the children.”
They will give the gifts to the children at a party they will hold for them this weekend.
