Dry weather holds through Wednesday, Rain moves back in Thursday

LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) - Good afternoon Texoma! It has been an awesome day with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures throughout southwest Oklahoma and north central Texas. We will hold on to the dry weather this evening and during the overnight. Temperatures are going to drop quickly with overnight lows into the mid 20s.

Tomorrow more dry weather is expected, but a few more clouds will build in. High temperatures tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 50s. Overnight lows heading into the middle of the week will be in the mid to upper 30s. Wednesday will be another dry day with high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s and even some lower 60s. Expect mostly cloudy skies for your Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday rain chances return for most places in Texoma. Light rain showers to drizzle is expected. High temperatures will be in the lower 50s. Winds on Thursday will be out of the north at 20-35mph and gusts up to 40. We will hold the rain chances until the early morning hours on Friday. We could see some flurries develop Friday morning as temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Don’t expect any accumulations or impacts to travel.

Next weekend looks dry and quiet with high temperatures in the mid 50s. A few clouds will be hanging around, but plenty of sunshine is expected.
