LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) - A strong storm system will move through tomorrow into Friday, bringing gusty north winds and some precipitation.
Quiet this evening as clouds increase from the west. Temperatures in the mid 40s at 9PM with lows near 40. A gusty cold front will move through tomorrow from early morning to noon and our highs will be reached from late morning to midday. Temperatures will then fall into the upper 30s during the afternoon. A *High Wind Warning is in effect for north winds 30-40 mph and gusts to 50-60 mph. Isolated power outages will be possible and difficult driving conditions on east to west facing roads. Please take a moment to secure outdoor items that may blow away from the high winds.
Tomorrow late afternoon and evening, a bit of wet snow may mix in with the rain, mainly across north Texas. Little to no snow accumulation is expected. Rain showers may continue off and on into tomorrow night, along with windy conditions. Lows in the low 30s. Windy Friday morning with clouds then increasing sunshine in the afternoon. Winds will decrease late Friday as well but gusts could still top 40 mph Friday morning.
The weekend looks nice with sunshine and highs in the upper 50s . Low of 29 Saturday morning and mid 30s Sunday morning. Next week is shaping up to be relatively mild as highs stay in the mid to upper 50s and possibly approach 60+ by Wednesday into late next week.
