First Alert Forecast with Meteorologist Mandy Bailey.

LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) - Good morning Texoma. The cold front is moving through this morning.

We are under a high wind warning today due to the potential for winds gusting up to 60 mph. Winds will be sustained around 30-40 mph.

Temps today will be tricky. Highs will occur this morning before the front pushes through. Temps fall into this afternoon under cloudy skies. Expect low 40s to low 50s from W to E across Texoma. Rain chances increase after lunch today. Scattered showers will be likely, and with strong winds visibility will be a concern later today. Overnight temps fall near freezing, bringing a chance for a wet snow S and some wet snowflakes for us across Texoma. There is a winter weather advisory for Jack, Young, Throckmorton, Haskell, and counties farther S into central Texas. A dusting up to an inch or two will be possible for counties along and S of 380.

Friday we clear out and temps warm into the low 50s. North winds stay sustained between 20 and 30 mph. Winds finally lighten up into the weekend. We stay in the 50s with light winds into next week.
