LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) -A non-profit organization is bringing holiday shopping to the shoppers. It’s for those who may not be able to get out to the stores to buy a gift for their loved ones. House of Bread Ministries brought in donated gifts for the residents at Cedar Crest Nursing home in Lawton. They could choose an item for themselves or to give to their loved ones this holiday season and a group of volunteers with Touching Lives Compassionately would wrap the gifts.
Ramonda Bruno, the Associate Pastor for House of Bread Ministries, says making this available for the residents feels good and it’s a good opportunity to do something for someone else.
Carolers from Eisenhower High School entertained the residents with Christmas music while they shopped.
