WICHITA FALLS, TX (RNN Texoma) - An Oklahoma man has been arrested after a young girl, under the age of 14, accused him of forcing sexual acts on her, as well as credit and debit card abuse.

Richard Eppert Jr., 37 of Hollis, Oklahoma, faces two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault on a Child and two counts of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse.

Law enforcement officials first learned of the alleged abuse in September 2018 when the Burkburnett Police Department was informed of a possible sexual assault of a child.

The victim was interviewed at Patsy’s House. The victim said Eppert touched her inappropriately and attempted to rape her while she was staying at a relative’s house.

In a separate incident, the victim said Eppert forced her to perform sexual acts on him at another relative’s home. Eppert was arrested Friday, December 28, by the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office.

As of Wednesday afternoon, he remains in the Wichita County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Eppert was the subject the Wichita Falls Police Department’s Manhunt Monday on September 24.
