LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Good Wednesday morning Texoma!

A chilly start this morning. Temps are in the 30s with N winds up to 10 mph. South winds return by this evening before another cold front arrives late week. Temps this afternoon warm into the 50s with mostly sunny skies.

Overnight cloud cover increases. Temperatures stay in the upper 40s Thursday with mostly cloudy skies. A few rain showers will be possible on and off Thursday before more widespread rain moves in Friday. Expect showers to last all day Friday into early Saturday morning. Temps stay in the mid 40s. Around an inch of rain is anticipated. While localized flooding will be possible, we are not anticipating widespread, major flooding since totals will stay relatively light.

We dry out this weekend. Temps stay in the 40s with partly cloudy skies. We’re back in the 50s next week.
