LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Rain will end tonight and a cold weekend is ahead.
Expect periods of rain and possibly a rumble of thunder through 9pm-midnight, then ending from west to east. Temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s this evening falling into the upper 30s by morning as strong north winds develop.
Cold and blustery tomorrow. Thanks to the chilly north winds 15-25 mph and lots of clouds, highs will only reach the mid 40s. A few clouds tomorrow night with lows around 30. Another cold day on Sunday but winds will be lighter and more sunshine is expected. Highs in the low 40s. Mostly clear Sunday night with lows in the upper 20s. Lots of sunshine on Monday with highs in the upper 40s.
Highs will return to near seasonable levels from Tuesday through Thursday, reaching the mid 50s. Lows in the 30s. We may get to 60 on Friday ahead of a strong cold front that may bring in a taste of Arctic air next weekend.
