First Alert Forecast

Cold and cloudy Sunday afternoon

First Alert Forecast

LAWTON, OK (TNN) - It is another cold and cloudy start to the day. Temperatures this morning are in the low to mid 30s all across Texoma. As we push later through the morning and into the afternoon we will slowly see some cloud cover dissipate, and a little sunshine return. High temperatures today will only be in the low to mid 40s. Tonight our weather will remain quiet, but cold, as mid to low 30s are expected through the evening hours.

Monday morning temperatures will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s. We will start with partly cloudy skies, but more sunshine is expected to return during the afternoon. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; temperatures look to make a run at the mid to upper 50s and even some lower 60s in a few places across Texoma. We will also see more sunshine move back in with the warmer air.

Friday will be another quiet day with even warmer temperatures in the lower to mid 60s. We will see a few more clouds build in Friday as a stronger cold front approaches from the north. This cold front looks to arrive during the overnight hours into Saturday. High temperatures on Saturday will be in the low to mid 30s. As far as precipitation goes, this system looks to be moisture starved, thus the reason for the low precipitation chances. If more moisture build back in during the day on Friday, we will likely see precipitation chances on the rise.
