Saint Jo woman, former teacher indicted for alleged improper relationship with students

COOKE COUNTY, TX (TNN) - A former Muenster High School teacher has been indicted by the Cooke County Grand Jury for two counts of Improper Relationship with a Student, and one count of Online Solicitation with a Minor, according to Bowie News.

Lynn Burge turned herself in on January 4 to Cooke County authorities after warrants were issued following the indictments. The bond was enhanced for the online solicitation charge which prompted this new arrest.

On October 8, the Texas Rangers were asked to investigate allegations of improper relationships involving Burge by the Department of Family and Protective Services.

Burge, 32, was originally arrested later that month for allegedly having sex with students. A trial date was not immediately available. Stay with News Channel 6 as we continue to follow this story.
