LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Today has been a cool, but nice afternoon with plenty of sunshine. We will continue to hold on to temperatures in the 40s through 9PM this evening. The total lunar eclipse starts tonight around 9:30PM and will stay with us into the early morning hours tomorrow. There will be some cloud cover tonight, but a few breaks are expected. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 30s.
MLK Day temperatures will be in the low to upper 60s for most places across Texoma. Expect plenty of sunshine tomorrow as well. Winds tomorrow are going to be very gusty out of the south at 20-30mph and gusts up to 35.
Tuesday morning a cold front will move through bringing cooler high temperatures in the lower 50s and upper 40s. Little to no precipitation is expected with this frontal boundary. There is a very small chance of a stray light rain shower or two in far eastern Texoma.
We will hold on to dry conditions throughout the work week and next weekend. High temperatures this week will primarily sit in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Expect lots of sunshine, and strong winds sitting between 20-30mph through Thursday.
