LAWTON, OK (TNN) -Good morning Texoma! It is a very cold start to your Sunday as temperatures are in the low to upper 20s. Our winds are lighter this morning so wind chills aren’t as bad as yesterday, but you will still want to be bundled up as you are headed out the door. We will warm up a lot quicker today with sunny skies and winds out of the south. We will see a few more clouds build in throughout the day, and temperatures will push into the upper 40 to upper 50s. The total lunar eclipse is tonight and we may get lucky to catch a few glimpses of the phenomena. There will be scattered high clouds throughout the area tonight.
Tomorrow morning temperatures will be more so on the warmer side in the mid to upper 30s. Winds will be picking up out of the south at 20-30mph with gusts up to 35-40. These strong winds will move warmer air northward and help our temperatures hit the upper 50s to lower 60s. More sunshine is expected tomorrow afternoon as well.
Tuesday morning a cold front will move through Texoma bringing another round of strong winds out of the northwest at 20-30mph. Northwest winds will hold through most of the day and keep high temperatures in the low 50s. We will see a few more clouds stick around throughout Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday-Friday the weather looks quiet with temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s. A weak cold front will move through Thursday evening, but no rain is expected.
More dry conditions are in store for next weekend, along with temperatures in the upper 40s to lower 50s.
