FORT SILL, OK (TNN) - A system going into place next Friday will offer a new way some visitors access Fort Sill.
It's called the Trusted Traveler Program, and Fort Sill officials plan to test it for at least six months.
It allows anyone with a Department of Defense ID, to bring guests with them on For Sill without having to go to the Visitor Control Center for a gate pass. Those with a DOD ID include service members, their spouses and their children who are 16 years old or older, or a Department of Defense employee.
They can sponsor anyone in a non-commercial vehicle with no more than 14 passengers.
That pilot program is set to go into place next Friday.
