First Alert Forecast

LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Temperatures this morning will be in the low to upper 30s as you head out the door for your Thursday morning commute. Clouds continue to build into the area this morning, and they will stick around through most of the afternoon, before dissipating later today. High temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s under mostly cloudy skies.

Friday-Rain chances will be possible tomorrow throughout the day, but become more likely starting by late morning and into the afternoon. Friday’s rain should stay very light and isolated, likely more drizzle than anything else. High temperatures tomorrow afternoon will be in the mid 50s under mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday-Rain chances will continue to climb during the morning hours on Saturday. We could see a few light to moderate showers and isolated thunderstorms. We are not tracking any severe potential associated with those storms. Rain totals from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning look to be around 0.2-0.5 inches, so do not expect a washout. The showers will move east by noon, and clear skies along with strong winds will move in for the afternoon hours. Fire danger will be on the rise as low humidity is expected along with wind gusts that could be around 40-50mph. Highs on Saturday will be in the lower 60s.

Sunday-High temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s, along with plenty of sunshine is expected.

Monday and Tuesday-High temperatures to start the next work week will be in the low to mid 60s under partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday-A strong cold front will move in out of the north bringing gusty winds, dry air, and cold temperatures in the 40s.
