LAWTON, OK (TNN) - A strong storm system will bring rain showers late tonight and high winds tomorrow.
Cloudy this evening with patchy drizzle and fog. Temperatures holding in the upper 40s. Late tonight, a cold front and dryline will sweep through Texoma, bringing scattered showers and possibly a non-severe storm. Lows in the mid 40s. Gusty west to southwest winds will develop and eventually shift to the northwest by later tomorrow. A high wind watch is in effect for wind speeds 30-40 mph gusting to 50-60 mph. Any clouds tomorrow morning will quickly give way to sunshine.
Winds will decrease tomorrow night and skies will be mostly clear. Lows in the upper 20s. A beautiful day Sunday with a northeast to east wind and highs in the upper 50s. Next week will start out mild with highs in the 60s Monday and Tuesday. Gusty south winds both days. A cold front will likely move through Texoma on Wednesday, bringing in much cooler air from mid to late next week. Some drizzle is possible behind the front on Wednesday with highs in the mid 40s.
Temperatures are expected to stay cool on Thursday & Friday under mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies.
