LAWTON, OK (TNN) - A Lawton luxury car dealership is one of a handful around the country to be honored as an outstanding local business. Billingsley Lincoln of Lawton recently received recognition at a meeting that was held in Nashville.

The Select Dealer Meeting is held once a year to discuss new products, recognize those that are doing a good job representing the Lincoln brand, and talk about sales, marketing, and customer service ideas. National Sales and Service Manager for Lincoln, Greg Wood, said Billingsley Lincoln of Lawton was recognized for their facility, Lincoln website, and performance.

“Over 25 percent of all luxury registrations in Lawton go to Lincoln, and that’s not just because of the product we have," said Wood. "It’s really driven based on their team being the face of Lincoln and providing that local luxury to the community there.”

Owner of the dealership, Craig Billingsley, is excited by the national recognition. He said customer service is everything.

“Our team works very, very hard and does an extremely great job," said Billingsley. "We couldn’t be more proud of them, and taking the Lincoln luxury to that next level is one of the things that Billingsley Lincoln of Lawton was recognized for. We’re very proud of that.”

Wood said for anyone to succeed in their business, no matter the field, they must listen to their customers and be engaged in the community.

“So many of our network dealers do that exceptionally well," said Wood. "Craig’s at the top of his class with their store and their team, and it’s not just one person. It’s the collective makeup of all the employees that wake up everyday and say how can I support the community and do what’s right for our clients.”
