LAWTON, OK (TNN) - This morning showers and storms will continue to push east and exit the area by 7AM. After the line of showers and storms move through, strong winds will make there way into Texoma. We will hold the First Alert Weather Day for this afternoon due to winds out of the southwest at 30-40mph with gusts to 50-60mph. We are under a high wind warning from 10AM this morning till 1AM tomorrow morning. Make sure to move lawn furniture and unsecured items indoors. High temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 60s and lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. Tonight will be a mild evening with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Overnight lows will be in the lower 40s.

Mostly sunny skies and dry weather will stick with us into the weekend. High temperatures Thursday through Saturday will be in the mid 50s. Sunday, a few more clouds build in and high temperatures will warm into the lower 60s. Heading into the next work week, highs will be in the low to mid 60s.
