LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Happy Friday Texoma! It is a cold start to the end of the work week with most places in the mid to upper 30s. Winds this morning are out of the north, so feel like temperatures will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s. We will continue to hold on to the north winds this afternoon at 10-15mph. High temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 50s under sunny skies. This evening will be a little chilly as well so make sure if you are headed out the door for Friday night plans, you have a warmer coat packed along with you. Low temperatures tonight will reach the low to mid 30s.
High temperatures tomorrow afternoon will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s under partly cloudy skies. A few cloud will build in during the day, but plenty of sunshine is still expected all throughout Texoma. Sunday’s high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s under mostly sunny skies.
Next week we will stay on a warming trend with lots of places in the low to mid 60s, and we could potentially see temperatures in the lower 70s by Thursday and Friday. As our temperatures stay on a warming trend, our dry stretch will continue to stick around. The next best chance for showers and storms is looking like next Friday.
