LAWTON, OK (TNN) - It is a nice and mild start to the work week with lots of places in the mid to upper 30s and lower 40s. We will warm up quickly today as clear skies, sunshine, and southerly winds will helps highs reach the mid to upper 60s. Similar conditions will return tomorrow with more high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
Rain chances return on Wednesday as a cold front moves in from the north and situates itself along I-40. This will bring light isolated rain chances and drizzle for our northern Texoma counties. Temperatures on Wednesday will be in the lower 60s.
Thursday, our conditions will clear and some sunshine will return. Highs will again be in the mid to upper 60s. Friday afternoon better rain and storm chances move in out of the west. We will see that system move east and bring more widespread rain and storm chances Saturday. Highs both days will be around 62 degrees. As we wrap up next weekend temperatures look to make a run for the upper 60s and lower 70s.
