First Alert Forecast

LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Good morning Texoma. A cold front will move through the viewing area this morning and bring light rain and drizzle in behind it. These showers will stick with us till around noon. Once we get later into the day sunshine will return, and our skies will remain clear through the overnight. Low temperatures heading into Thursday will be in the mid to upper 30s. Thursday afternoon we will see a few more clouds build in, but plenty of sunshine is expected. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60s and even a few lower 70s.

Friday a lot more cloud cover will build in and rain chances will increase during the late evening. This line of showers and possible storms will track east through the overnight into Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon into Sunday rain and storm chances will be possible, primarily for our eastern Texoma counties. A few of the storms could be on the stronger side. Severe storm probabilities look low at this point, but very easily can change over the next few days. This system should clear by Sunday afternoon. This system won’t be a wash out, but a few places could see up to an inch throughout the viewing area.

Next week for Monday, high temperatures will be in the upper 60s, and Tuesday the upper 50s to lower 60s.
