First Alert 7 Forecast: plenty of dry time but also some rain to dodge this weekend

LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Our next storm system will bring a few showers and storms this weekend but there will also be nice weather to enjoy as well.

Some high clouds will move in this evening into tonight. Temperatures near 60 by 9PM with lows in the mid 40s. Turning mostly cloudy tomorrow but temperatures will be mild as highs reach 70. South to southeast winds 10-20 mph. Scattered showers and a few storms are possible tomorrow evening, mainly in far western Texoma. Those showers and storms will slowly spread east tomorrow night and end Saturday morning. Lows in the low 50s. Skies will remain mostly cloudy Saturday and there is a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower/storm. Highs around 70 with breezy southeast winds.

A few clouds Saturday night and mild with lows in the low 50s. A dryline will push through most of Texoma on Sunday, leading to a nice day but winds will be strong out of the southwest to west. Highs in the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. There is a chance of an isolated storm in eastern to southeastern Texoma but most should stay dry. A cold front will move in Monday but highs should still make it into the upper 60s. Mostly sunny and slightly cooler Tuesday with highs in the mid 60s.

A big warm-up is expected from mid to late next week.

Have a great evening!
