LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Thursday morning, the Good Morning Texoma Crew celebrated World Down Syndrome Day.
March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says about one in every 700 babies is born with down syndrome.
That makes Down Syndrome the most common chromosomal condition.
The day is celebrated by wearing brightly colored socks, mismatched socks, or even an extra sock signifying the extra chromosome people with Down Syndrome carry.
The Good Morning Texoma Crew decided to get in on the fun and wore crazy socks to celebrate the day!
