First Alert 7 Forecast

LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Happy Friday Texoma! Temperatures are again into the 40s this morning under mostly clear skies. As we continue throughout the morning more cloud cover will build in. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the lower 70s. Rain showers and thunderstorms will begin to develop in the Texas panhandle this afternoon. Those will continue east and impact our far western Texoma counties by 3-4PM this afternoon. Some of those showers and storms could be on the stronger side, but the severe threat will remain very low. Counties in central Texoma can expect to be impacted by mainly rain and weaker storms anytime after 10PM this evening. The line of showers and storms will stick with us into the morning hours Saturday. Our eastern Texoma counties will hold the better chance for precipitation through the mid morning hours. Conditions will clear tomorrow afternoon and we may see a little sunshine return for a few areas before another small chance of showers develops in the evening for eastern Texoma.

There is a very small chance of a few lighter rain showers in far eastern and southeastern Texoma Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon temperatures will be very warm in the mid to upper 70s with sunshine returning for most places.

Monday and Tuesday more sunshine will return and temperatures will be in the lower 70s and then the mid 60s. A few more clouds build back in on Wednesday and temperatures jump back into the lower 70s. Next Thursday looks very warm with lots of places into the upper 70s and maybe even a few lower 80s in far southwestern Texoma.
