LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Good Afternoon Texoma! There is a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 10PM this evening for Grady county in far northeastern Texoma. There is also a marginal and slight risk of severe weather issued for our far eastern Texoma counties. The main threats are wind and hail. Most of Texoma will stay dry and mild this evening. We should see everything clear out by 10PM.
Tomorrow, a few clouds will hang around in the morning with temperatures in the lower 50s. As we continue through the day clouds will move out and temperatures will begin to warm into the mid 70s. It will be another nice and warm afternoon to wrap up the weekend.
Monday and Tuesday temperatures will hold in the upper 60s to lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. Wednesday winds will increase out of the south at 20-30mph. This will bring up lots of warm air and help temperatures climb into the low to mid 70s. The strong winds will stick with us into Thursday and temperatures will be in the upper 70s and possibly lower 80s. A few rain chances are in the forecast for Thursday afternoon.
Friday, mostly sunny skies will return and temperatures will hold in the mid 70s. Saturday clouds will build in and so will a few chances for showers and storms.
