LAWTON, OK (TNN) -Good morning Texoma! A few showers and weaker storms are moving through Texoma this morning. These will continue to track east and move out of the viewing area by 8 or 9AM. We will see a few clouds clear this afternoon and a little sunshine return for portions of the viewing area. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s. Around 4 or 5PM a few strong to severe storms are expected to develop in far eastern Texoma, close to I-35. There is a marginal risk for severe weather issued for those eastern counties. Primary threats are wind and hail. Those storms should clear out by 8PM. Conditions will quiet down later this evening. Overnight lows will be in the low 50s.
Tomorrow, our day will start off partly cloudy, but by the time afternoon hits lots of sunshine will return to the area. High temperatures tomorrow afternoon will be in the mid 70s.
Conditions look to stay dry through most of next week. Temperatures will gradually cool down into the upper 60s on Tuesday, but then another strong warm up will push highs to around 80 degrees on Thursday. Winds will be strong Wednesday and Thursday out of the south at 20-30mph.
