Comanche Nation Casino teaming up with Salvation Army for food drive

LAWTON, OK (TNN) - The Comanche Nation Casino is teaming up with the Salvation Army for a food drive this month.

It starts Tuesday, and will take place every Tuesday in April from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, except for the 30th.

You can donate four cans of food for a $5 free play at the Casino, or a whole case of canned food for a $10 free play.

Major David Robinson with the Salvation Army says he hopes this increases their food supply so they never have to turn anyone away.

“We want to be able to say ‘yes’ when people come in and say ‘can you help?’ We don’t want anybody to be worried about ‘is there enough’," said Robinson.

Comanche Nation Casino officials say if you just want to drop food off at the casino and not play, you’re welcome to do that as well.
