The Oklahoma Council of the Blind to host State Conference in Lawton

For the first time,The Oklahoma Council of the Blind will host its annual State Conference in Lawton this weekend. This year's theme is "The Music of OCB" and will highlight the diversity of the different chapters.For more on that event we have Kay Love.

7News partnered with Red Cross Oklahoma for a telethon supporting the victims of hurricane Florence tuesday raising over $3,000.   The 3 hour event brought in a total of $3430. The money raised provides food, shelter, blankets, personal hygiene items, cleaning supply kits, and emotional support.   Red Cross officials say even though the hurricane is gone their work following any disaster is far from over.
