OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An early morning shooting outside a southwest Oklahoma City nightclub has left one person dead and another person wounded. Police say an argument spilled into the parking lot of Club Rodeo about 2 a.m. and gunfire began after at least one person and security guards pulled out guns.

MANGUM, Okla. (AP) - A hearing is today on a request by the wife of a former Oklahoma warden to dismiss charges she helped a convicted killer escape more than 16 years ago. A Greer County judge will hear arguments from prosecutors and defense attorneys Thursday on motions filed on behalf of Bobbi Parker.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) - Car rental company Avis Budget Group says it's raising its cash offer in its bid for Tulsa-based Dollar Thrifty as it battles Hertz for the potential buyout. Avis says it's increasing the cash offer from $39.25 per share to $40.75 per share - in addition to offering 0.6543 shares of Avis Budget Group Incorporated stock for each share of Dollar Thrifty.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma energy company is donating more than 3 miles of recycled oil pipes to the Oklahoma City Zoo for its new elephant habitat. The Oklahoman reports that the 400 pieces of pipe donated by Devon Energy will be used to build a fence for the 11-acre exhibit.
