Sooner Security was started by Chris Hedrick back in 1984. Chris had previously
worked with burglar alarms and decided to start his own business. The original office
was located on the corner of 11th and SW "B" Avenue and moved to their current
location of 901 SE 1st Street in 1991, and today service over 2000 customers.

Sooner Security has grown to having 7 full time employees and is the only alarm
service that locally monitors in the Lawton area. Although we are based in Lawton,
our coverage area is quite large. We cover all of the KSWO viewing area, and go south
to the Texas border, west to the other Texas border, east to I-35 (Ardmore area) and
north to the edge of Oklahoma City and I-40. We have 24/7 live person monitoring and
emergency response.

Together our employees have a total of 79 years of experience in installing and
servicing residential and commercial burglar alarms, fire alarms, and closed circuit
camera monitoring. Each employee is trained and licensed by the Oklahoma Burglar
and Fire Alarm Association. They are also required to take a written test through the
Health department before a license is issued. We feature state of the art equipment and
continue to upgrade as new technology develops.
