Lawton Home and Garden Show

Lawton_From landscaping to interior decorating, it's all at Lawton's 46th Annual Home and Garden Show at the Great Plains Coliseum. Lawton's Home Builders Association has put on quite a show that brings in about 100 exhibitors: Sutherlands, Pippin Brothers, and Comanche Home Center, to name a few.

It's still spring on the inside. "This is a good opportunity since the weather's bad to come in here and get spring indoors when it's nasty on the outside and see what there is to do so you can take the ideas home to your garden," said the Home Builder's Association's Sharleen Gehers.

Jose Laboy is the chairman of the Home and Garden Show. He said just walking through the doors is like a do-it-yourself guide. "We've got some landscapers here that can give you advice on how to do it and where you can get the plants from," said Laboy. He said about 3 thousand people came out to the Home and Garden Show last year. He expects this year will even be more.

The Home and Garden Show at the Great Plains Coliseum runs till March 29th. The hours are Saturday, March 28th from 9-6 and from 12-5 on Sunday, March 29th. Admission is 3 dollars for adults and kids under 12 are free.
