Police investigate weekend stabbings

LAWTON_ A stabbing in Lawton left a man with serious injuries on Saturday. Police say the victim remains in the hospital after his girlfriend stabbed him in the stomach, arm and hand.

Officers say when they arrived on the scene in the 1800 block of Dr. N.H. Jones Ave. the victim's intestines were exposed. Investigators took his girlfriend, Francis Alexander into custody for assault with a deadly weapon.

Another stabbing late Friday night sent a 49-year-old Lawton man to the hospital. The victim says he was attacked near the 1200 block of SW H Ave. The victim tells police he was walking down an alley when 2 men approached him with a knife and demanded his wallet. Officers say the victim had stab wounds on his hand. The attackers are still on the loose
