Lawton Community Theater Audition Call

Lawton_Press Release_Four women and four men (plus one non-singing man to manipulate the plant) are needed for the musical 'Little Shop of Horrors,' based on the film by Roger Corman, about a pair of young lovers and a flesh-eating plant. Book is by Howard Ashman, with lyrics by Howard Ashman, and music by Alan Menken.    The LCT production will be directed by Cynthia Kent, with Musical Direction by Linda Chapman and Choreography by James Brock.   Auditions are at 7 PM, Monday and Tuesday, April 6 and 7.  Performances are June 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14. 

ATTENTION AUDITIONERS FOR MUSICALS!

Auditions begin at 7 pm.  Arrive early to complete an audition form.  Those auditioning for musicals must have a prepared song (at least 12 bars) and should dress appropriately for dancing (no sandals or clogs, please).  Accompaniment will be provided.  You may not sing without accompaniment.  An accompaniment CD or cassette tape is permitted but you may not sing along with a vocal track.  You may be asked to read from the script.
