Strong winds fuel woodpile fire in Comanche County

Comanche County_Strong winds ripping through southwest Oklahoma on Thursday morning had many area fire departments on alert just in case something were to happen.

It's a good thing they were because at about 10 AM, a large wood pile caught fire behind a barn in eastern Comanche County near Highway 7.  Bethel and Cox Fire Departments responded to the blaze that burned for at least an hour before fire officials stifled the flames.
