Lawton Police investigate boy's fall from bunk bed, blunt force trauma injuries

Lawton_Police say a Lawton boy has been flown to an Oklahoma City Hospital after being injured in his west side home.  Police say the eight-year-old boy sustained serious injuries, and they are trying to determine how those injuries were inflicted.

Medical workers say it appeared that the boy had suffered blunt force trauma.  They say the child's mother told them her son had fallen off a bunk bed, but hospital officials told police that his internal injuries were so severe that a simple fall would not have caused them.
