Manhunt for kidnapping suspect in Stephens County

STEPHENS COUNTY- A manhunt is underway in Stephens County after authorities say a man kidnapped a woman and then ran from deputies. Investigators say 47-year-old James Millner threw the woman from a pickup, wrecked it and ran into a field.

It happened in the area of 2nd street and Refinery road near Comanche and Meridian.

A witness saw Millner fighting with a woman in a pickup and called the sheriff's department. A deputy tried to stop the pickup, but says Millner led him on a chase. At some point, investigators say Millner threw the woman out of the pickup. Sheriff Wayne McKinney says she was bound with duct tape.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is also on the scene to help look for Millner. They've brought in a helicopter to aid in the search. The sheriff is urging people in the area to be extremely cautious until Millner is caught. The number to call if you see him is 580-255-3131
