Small fire forces brief evacuation at Lawton Goodyear plant

 

Lawton-Employees at the Goodyear plant were forced to evacuate today.  This after a machine inside caught fire this morning. Fire officials say an outside contractor was doing some welding when a machine belt caught fire.

The Lawton Fire Department helped put out hot spots and clear smoke from the building. No injuries were reported. This is the first fire at the plant this year.
