Wind damage in Stephens County

Bray_Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney said if it wasn't a tornado, it sure was close to one.

That's as residents in the Bray area are left surveying the damage from this afternoon's storm.

Our 7NEWS crew was out in Bray with Sheriff McKinney, where we saw downed power lines and broken trees.

As officials were checking out other damage reports, they came upon what looks to be the hardest hit area there -- the north boundary of Stephens County, at Morrison and County Line Road.

Sheriff McKinney says homes were torn apart, motor homes gone, vehicles overturned in ditches.  We're told one man riding a four-wheeler was even picked up and blown quite a distance.

There is good news -- no injuries have been reported.
