Don't forget to vote today!

LAWTON, Okla. - It is election day in Texoma and this is one for the history books.  Voters are deciding on Oklahoma's first female governor.  Democratic candidate Jari Askins is spending the day at her home in Duncan where she will cast her vote.  Askins faces Republican Congresswoman Mary Fallin in the race.  The GOP candidate spent much of yesterday making phone calls to key supporters and rallying her campaign team in Oklahoma City.

As you know by now, there are 11 state questions to decide on and a number of local races as well.  Polls are open until 7 this evening.  You can follow the election results right here on your 7News station and on this website at kswo.com.
