Lawton- A trial is set to start Tuesday morning for a Lawton man accused in last year's first homicide. Tony Lewis is charged with murder in the shooting death of 31-year old Garry Moore.
It happened in April of last year. Lawton police say it appears drugs and robbery were the motive behind the crime. Detectives told us Lewis shot Moore after he opened an apartment door near 24th and Williams. Prosecutors say Andin Stewart later pleaded guilty to driving Lewis and others to and from the apartment. Daniel Maddox and a juvenile were identified by police as material witnesses.
