UPDATE: Tubbs trial begins

LAWTON, Okla. – The 1st-degree murder trial for Maurice Tubbs is now underway in a Comanche County Courtroom.

A jury was selected Monday.  Police say Tubbs and another man fired five shots into a house on the 1800 block of McKinley during a drive-by on April 4th of 2009.

One of the shots hit and killed 6-year-old Hikeem Lambirth, who was asleep on a couch in the home.  Count on 7News to follow the trial.
