Baby found walking on busy Lawton ramp

A scary story from Lawton, what would be a parent's nightmare.  Police say a two-year-old baby was spotted walking down the on ramp of Sheridan and Rogers Lane.

Police say they were swamped with phone calls at about 8:00 last night claiming there was a baby in a diaper, alone and walking down the ramp.  They then got a call from some Fort Sill soldiers who spotted the baby and pulled over and picked him up.  When police arrived they put him in their patrol car and drove through the neighborhood, located south of Rogers Lane.

Police found the parents searching for their missing baby.  It turns out the child wandered out of a unlocked back yard gate .

Police say luckily the baby was returned unharmed.
