Hungry? Head to Kiwanis Club Pancake Days

LAWTON, Okla. - The Lawton Downtown Kiwanis Club annual pancake days continues Saturday from seven to seven at the Great Plains Coliseum. For $9 at the door, you get a meal of pancakes, eggs, sausage and a drink.

The money raised goes to area children; everything from funding scholarships to sponsoring the city high school key clubs.

"We're very, very supportive of the community and we really want them to come out here and support us because in turn, by supporting us, Pancake Days, they support the youth of Lawton," said Jim Hankins, Pancake Days Chair.

You will see the youth they support, doing their part at the meal Saturday, along with Fort Sill's U.S. Marine detachment and 2/18 Field Artillery who have a huge hand in helping the Kiwanis put on this event.
