Kathryn joined the KSWO team in August of 2011. She is thrilled to be part of such a great organization.  Kathryn graduated with a degree in mass communication with an emphasis on electronic media in 2011 from Texas State University.  There she participated in several internships and worked for the school's newscast, Bobcat Update.

Kathryn is originally  from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, but it ready and excited to begin a new chapter in a new place.  Kathryn has been bitten by the travel bug and hopes to one day combine her love for travel and broadcast into one perfect career.  She is looking forward to her new life here in Oklahoma and, of course, she is grateful for the opportunity to start off her career with such great people at a great station.

If you have any leads or story ideas, feel free to contact Kathryn at kgisi@kswo.com.  She would love to hear from  you!
