Award-winning journalist Anna Jensen comes to Lawton from Denver, Colorado, where she was the traffic reporter for KWGN's morning newscast.
She has reported and anchored at several television stations since graduating with a BA in Broadcast Journalism from SMU. Anna started her career as a reporter for KREX in Grand Junction, Colorado before moving on to become the morning anchor at KSN in Joplin, Missouri. Following that, she returned to her home state as a reporter and anchor at KRDO in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2008 she moved to New York City to participate in a digital journalism training program with NBC News.
Anna comes from a family of newspaper journalists and says writing and reporting is "in her blood". She knew from a very young age she wanted to be a news anchor, and she loves the opportunity it gives her to meet new people and get involved in the community.
Anna has a passion for travel and has lived and studied in London and Italy. She also enjoys horseback riding, yoga, vegetarian cooking, and thrift and vintage shopping. She especially loves animals and spending time with her teacup Maltipoo 'Bellina'.
