Pampa, Texas - A Pampa judge has denied an order to test DNA evidence in the case of Henry Watkins Skinner.

This week, Judge Stephen Emmert denied the request to test the evidence that Skinner says could exonerate him. He is scheduled to be executed Wednesday, November 9th in Huntsville for the 1993 murders of his girlfriend and her two sons.

Skinner's attorneys say they plan to appeal the decision to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. Prosecutors have called the request merely an attempt to delay Skinner's execution.
