UPDATE: Missing mentally handicapped man found

Duncan_A mentally handicapped man who walked away from a group home Thursday morning was found Friday evening in Ardmore.

The Duncan Police Department says John Brewer, 52, was found at a Denny's restaurant. The group home sent a van to Ardmore to bring him back home.

Brewer had last been seen in Velma Thursday morning, after someone had dropped him off at a convenience store there.

    A Duncan woman has been reappointed to serve on the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Board of Directors. Tanya Case was appointed to serve a second four-year term on the board by House Speaker Charles McCall. She will help oversee the agency responsible for the care and health of over one-million Oklahomans. Case has worked in health care for 35 years, with much of that spent in leadership positions.
