OSU fills needs in 2012 signing class

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy says all three quarterbacks on his roster will have the chance to replace departing senior Brandon Weeden, and that includes new recruit Wes Lunt.

Gundy says the Cowboys wouldn't have brought in backup quarterback Clint Chelf, reserve J.W. Walsh or Lunt if they didn't have a chance to be the starter. Lunt enrolled in January but has had limited time to visit with Gundy, who has been out recruiting.

Gundy says he believes Oklahoma State got more respect than he has experienced before on the recruiting trail, after winning a school-record 12 games, its first Big 12 championship and the Fiesta Bowl. Even the Cowboys' new uniforms had an impact.

Gundy's next focus will be hiring a replacement for associate head coach Joe DeForest.
