Driver crashes car after passing out behind the wheel

Lawton, OKLa._

Police say a man and his young son walked away from a dangerous car crash after the man claimed he blacked out behind the wheel.

Police were called to the eighteen-hundred block of Ferris just after nine o'clock after the driver, west bound on ferris crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into mailbox.

Police say minutes later the driver drove several more blocks before crashing through multiple fences, a gas meter, and even a storage shed.

Police say no one was injured, police believe the man suffered from a medical condition and don't believe alcohol was a factor.
