Homer's Backyard Ball earns national exposure

Posted: Updated:

Amarillo, TX - On the 15th anniversary of Homer's Backyard Ball, the music festival is being recognized on a national level.

All of the proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish foundation - they have granted over 100 wishes in the past.

This year's festival has been even bigger than in the past since The Food Network made a stop to help celebrate.

"It's awesome to be able to have them here. What we're trying to do with the new foundation is to be able to go nation-wide with it, and being able to have The Food Network here is one more way to do that. "

Everything filmed will air in September on The Food Network's show "The Great American Food Truck Race."

Homer's Backyard Ball is scheduled to run until 11pm Saturday with the final act being Cody Canada and the Departed.
